Application area
(1) galvanized sheet
Galvanized sheet has good corrosion resistance, processability, weldability and painting, mainly used in automobile, home appliances, light industry and other industries. According to the different coating, there are double-sided, single-sided and poor thickness coating. At the same time, according to the different post-treatment, there are passivation, phosphating, fingerprint resistance and other products
(2) electroplated tin plate
Electroplated tin plate is mainly used in packaging industry. It has excellent corrosion resistance, beautiful appearance, high strength, light weight, good formability, and good resistance to organic matter, dilute acid, alkali and salt corrosion. Tinplate products can be further divided into two categories: food (i.e. food packaging products) and general-purpose products (i.e. non food packaging products).
Brief introduction of production process
After several pretreatment processes, the cathode strip will pass through a series of electrolyzers. The electrolytes of these cells contain soluble zinc or tin ions, which will be electrodeposited on the surface of the strip after electrochemical reaction.
Reaction mechanism
Anode reaction (on anode surface): 2 H2O → O2 ↑ + 4H + + 4e
Main cathode reaction (on the surface of steel plate): Zn2 + + 2e → Zn / SN2 + + 2e → SN
